How many times have you wished you had more photographs of your parents, your grandparents, or you with your mom or dad?  Today, photography for families is just as important as ever.   While digital media makes it easy to view and share images on the computer, there is nothing like holding a genuine portrait of your loved ones, or ancestors, and feeling the magic that was captured in that moment.

 

OVERVIEW

Ori.Gens is our line of child and family photography.  We not only provide baby and child photography, but photography of newborn babies, school senior portraits, and family portraits outdoor, or in-studio.

When is the best time to do family pictures?  Family portraits are perfect for new families and blended families.  Some like to have annual family portraits, usually in time for holiday gift-giving and sharing.  Many like to have professional family portraits before a child leaves for college, or to commemorate baby’s first year, and for other family milestones.

BEFORE

Before your session, we recommend coming in for a complimentary consultation.  It is helpful to know what you want your “end result” to be – whether it’s a lovely heirloom album to pass down to the children, or a beautiful canvas gallery wrap over the mantle, or a wall collage of several favorite images.  You will have the opportunity to see and feel many of our wonderful products.  We will also help design the perfect setting for your family portraits, so that your unique style and personality shines through. DURING

Your family portrait session should be, quite simply, FUN!  Whether in-studio, or on location, your session will last 45 minutes to one hour.  We will guide you for the best family poses, but will also capture candids, and some of the “true” moments that reflect who you are, and who you are with each other.  We will photograph the whole family plus the various configurations, such as, mom and dad together, mom with the kids, dad with the kids, just the kids, etc.

AFTER

After your family portraits, you will come to the studio in 1-2 weeks to select your favorite images and place your order.  It is important to have all decision makers present at your ordering session.  Whether you have decided you want a large piece of art for your wall, or a collection of smaller images, or an heirloom album, we will help you create the perfect package for your needs.  For more details, please review our FAQs.
